Moments

This week over at Simon Says Stamp and Show the challenge was

Show Your Numbers!

Having just finished my Altered Clock I thought what a great entry for this Challenge.
Below is the original post with pictures of the clock.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Isn't that what everything every day is? Just a whole bunch of Moments?
Good or Bad the ones that we remember are the ones that make us who we are. That's why I just had to use this muse token from Tim Holtz on my altered clock project. Actually everything on this project is from Tim. I have been wanting to make one for a while and here are the results.

Close up of Moments muse token sitting on an Idea-ology Gear that I distress rusted.

Unique muse token on another gear sits in the 11 position on the clock.

I used Distress crackle which I inked over of course and on the edge of the face of the clock I used some of the Traveler tissue tape with all the months of the year. I love the way it turned out.

A shot of the finished project. Its free standing or I can hang it if I want.

  5. Oh my, what a wonderful clock!

Your mix of numeric and text imagery is perfect, and I love the combination of the round clock faces with the the oval front.

And, where did you find those superb over sized block numbers? Those are really fantastic ... especially as one takes a lingering look at this piece ... all of the bits seem to float and swirl.
