Halloween Greetings From Belgium

A while back I posted about swapping some Halloween tags with my online friend Inge Bekaertand of course I said yes. Her work is Fabulous as you can see below in the wonderful art that showed up in my mailbox today.

In addition to the 5 tags, Inge also included some inchies and her artful card.
Plus a package of metal embellishment. Too cool!
Thanks Inge, I love everything. Happy Halloween!

Tim's Summer Stamp Release

As many of you know a few days ago Tim Holtz announced his new stamps on his Blog. Well just for leaving him a comment he picked several winners to receive one set from the new collection. Well I was picked, Yippee! and my stamps came today. I couldn't be happier that I received the Retro Halloween set....

Now how am I gonna afford to get the rest of them? Anybody want to float me a loan?

Halloween Old and New

With Halloween only a few weeks away I decided that I would work on my Halloween cards tonight. I used stamps from Tim's Trick or Treat Set combined with images from this years Spooky Stuff Set.

As you can see the outside of the card has the skeleton and spiderwebs from the Trick or Treat set. I stamped the webs right on to a 6x6 gate fold card then used pewter Perfect Pearls to highlight the image. I stamped the skeleton onto manila paper cut them out and adhered to the fronts.

The envelopes are vellum that I stamped with the bird from this years Spooky Stuff set then embossed with Distress Powder. I love this technique on vellum. Gives it a rough, painted on look and feel.

The inside of the cards have a sentiment and image from this years set also.

Im pretty happy with the way they turned out. Let me know what you think....
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
