A Page for Eileen

The current journal page I completed was for my online friend Eileen.  She picked "faces" as the them for her journal. I thought about this one for some time. I wanted to make a page that would make her smile and think happy thoughts.
Well what I finally came up with was the vintage faces of comedy!

I love this stamped phrase I thought it would be perfect for the page.

8 different faces of Comedy cover the front of the page. How many can you name?

This is the back of the page that I covered in Tim's paper which list places in NY where Eileen lives. I created a pocket and included a tag that says Laugh! I finished the page off with a Happiness embellishment.

I used a Laurel and Hardy stamped image as the on the back of my journal page and its kinds become a theme for my book.

What better way to put my "stamp" on Eileen's book than include their comedic faces on the back of her page. I love the way it turned out and hope she does too.

  5. Ah, Stephen, you had me at "happy." I love love love your page and it did indeed make me smile. I recognize each and every face, by the way. It brought back a rush of great memories. I can't tell you how many classes I cut in college to go to a Marx Brothers film festival with my then boyfriend. I have a particular weakness for pages that are both artistic and witty, and you knocked this one out of the park. Thank you!!
