As most of you know by now I'm involved with a Journal Round Robin Swap on Kindred Souls.
The book I've been working on this week is for none other than Gloria Alexander.
The theme she chose was Vintage Shabby Chic. I hope she enjoys it as much as I did making it.
Here is a close up of the tag I covered using a napkin collage technique. You basically decoupage the napkin to the piece and then I used iridescent watercolor to hand paint in all the details.
I just love doing this for it transforms your piece to look like actual canvas.
The cut out pieces are by K and Company.

This is a close up of the small embellishment I made from a small envelope and tag cut from some patterned paper.
This is the back of the page. I love the vintage feel of this print and thought it went perfectly with the theme.
This is beautiful Bear. She will love it.Lovely work.

DeleteIt is perfect for her theme and I know she'll love it. The napkin decoupage technique is one of my favorites too, and you did it so well. Great page!
