Thanksgiving Week Challenges

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Hope your holiday was a great one.
As it is indeed a busy time of year for us here in the USA
I had to combine my challenges once again.

If I didn't know better I would think that
The Compendium-of-Curiosities-Challenge at Studio L3 (Double Distress)
and the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge (Show your Distress Inks),
were secretly combining their efforts for each week they seem to just go so perfectly together.
I used these challenges to create another Christmas card. I mean I have to get the most for my time right?
I used Distress Ink all over this project and actually used a watercolor technique to fill in the detail of the stamp. I love the way it all came together.

  1. Well, you should love it; it's wonderful! I love the way you cut around the holly on the right. And your watercoloring is great.

  2. oh WOW Stephen!!! Love it!!!! Just FABULOUS!

  3. Absolutely beautiful. I love the choice of black for the background color. Nice work! (Do you need my address?)

  4. Love this & also the 6X6 page swap you did. Both are super.

  9. This is just lovely! The Santa is so festive and vintage!

  10. What a cool and perfect Christmas card, Stephen! I love how you layered these papers and the double distress looks amazing! There's a real elegance to this work, and the subtle colors give it a lovely vintage feel.

I hope you're enjoying December so far! Isn't the season already just whizzing by??
