Wow was day 1 intense or what??
Unless you haven't been paying attention you know I'm talking about
Day 2 introduced us or should I say re-introduced us to creating your own stamp pad.
Tim also used one of the stamps that I have just been looking for a reason to play with. As a lot of people, I don't always have everything Tim uses so you have to let your creativity take over.
I didn't have the clear embossing powder that he used for his tag but I did have some UTEE. I really like the way it bled around the pine needles leaving some of the un-inked background showing through. Looks just like snow edged branches.
I also loved that Tim used a metal embellishment on his tag. For my metal I used, are you ready for this, a shower curtain ring that I got a yard sale, 12 for a buck!
Im loving this years tags, How about you?
Gorgeous tags! You have a lucky sister.
ReplyDeleteLove the shower curtain ring....aren't you Mr. Crafty?
Eileen

ReplyDeleteGreat tag! I finally bought the pine bough stamp recently - have admired it for quite some time - so I'm extra glad to see it being used this year! Clever you, with the shower curtain ring!

Love the effect of the UTEE - it's so much more fun experimenting with what we have rather than just being copy cats! The shower ring embellishment is truly inspired. :-)
ReplyDeletewow!!! They are so great!!! Love this stamp!
ReplyDeleteLove your tags, Stephen; nice work with the UTEE & those shower rings-so clever! Suzie
ReplyDeleteSuper work there...I love how everyone is using what they have...it's more fun that way...we have to think a bit more, instead of just copying Tim...I think he's enjoying every variation.
ReplyDeleteYou're too funny! Shower curtain rings! You should get the prize for the most creative embellishment!
ReplyDeleteYou did a fantastic job with your stamp pad ... perfect image!
This is really gorgeous, I just love your stamping on this one. And seriously, a shower curtain ring? I was going to ask where you got it...lol...
